I was right... thank you very much!
I promise this will be the last post about my sleep issues... I went to see my GP yesterday after being on the phone with 2 different people who had 2 different suggestions about what road to take. One (the nurse at my dr. office) said everything was "normal" but the study showed a lot of leg movement which may be
RLS and the doctor may want to treat that to see if it helps with my sleep. I do not have this, I know and clearly as I knew I did not have apnea. The lady from the sleep clinic recommended I go to a sleep specialist, gave me his number and said he could help. To cut this short... I called and made an appointment with my own doctor and sat with her to decipher all the mumbo jumbo on the report.
She said I did not have apnea, I do not fall asleep well (even with taking the Ambien), I do not get into a deep sleep and I do not stay asleep. I have a Sleep Disorder... I am not mental (she actually used that word)... It is in my make-up just like people with a chronic condition... I have done everything I could do as far as conditioning my body to sleep... and the Ambien is OK as long as it is not affecting me during the day... and if it stops working we will try something else. Whew! There was more, but that is the short version.
How do you spell relief? A.M.B.I.E.N
