Taken from Elle... Surprisingly, I didn't do the "tag, you're it" part- just answer the question, ma'am.

What five things do you miss from your childhood?
1) Games like Red Rover, Tag, Jacks, Chinese Jump Rope (in, out, side by side, on, in, out), Marco Polo and Hide and Seek
2) Pigtails and Braids, barrettes with ribbons and Hairbands
3) Friendships and Family without worry, frustration and obligation
4) Swimming underwater the whole length of the pool
5) Innocence, pure innocence

Ever have one of those days? Posted by Hello

Thinking about going to an allergist... I have been messing with everything (doctor prescribed) from Allegra to Zyrtec, nasal sprays, Singular... nothing works. I am constantly clogged and sound very nasally.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Do all those tests to see what you are allergic to really mean anything? If you show positive for mold (or whatever), can you really do anything about it besides the meds I have already tried?
What if it is my cat? I am not emotionally attached, but my kids are.

Everytime...
Why is it that everytime I purchase something, shortly afterward a new model comes out that I want? Case in point: I bought the Nikon Coolpix 8700 because I thought the D70 was too overwhelming for me. Well, apparently I am not the only one who felt this way, because they just released the D50. Sheesh!

Both parties are done...
-the sex toy night was a blast... Hey Toni, is King Tut still on your mind? A dildo with King Tut's face etched on it was just a bit "freaky". We were all passing around lotions and potions and toys and games, oh my!
-my mom's surprise party also went well. She had no idea and was very happy. The video was a hit and I actually slept last night. (Ambien assisted, but sleep is sleep)

Ben is in camp this week and it was nice and quiet today. Amazing how taking one out of the picture for 8 house just makes it all better. Sometimes it doesn't even matter which one.

I am trying to catch up on my blog reading! I have missed so much!

She was shocked... the party was a success! Posted by Hello

My mom in the 60's... her neck was tired from the weight of her hair! Posted by Hello

Since Toni linked to me, I figure I'd better post something. Yes, I am having a sex toy party. My neighbor (the person you'd think least likely to have one) started this a few years ago. She had one, than 2 had one from hers and so on and then it stopped. We joke about it all the time and some of the newbies were jealous that they were not here... so I am having one again. Not that I need or want anything else... but hey, there could be something new and exciting.

Sunday my sisters and I (well, mainly me because they have done NOTHING) are having a surprise 60th party for my mother. I am (note I... because they are doing NOTHING) putting together a video with pictures. Some of the old ones are cool to look at... I'll post a few of my favorites. The hard thing is that we are not close to my moms family. Neither is she. I (not we) choose to invite some of them because they are her family. It will be interesting.

My kids have not driven me off the edge YET. Summer vacation has been good. For the most part they have kept themselves busy with friends. The occasional I'm bored, I'm hungry is somewhat tolerable... so far. What is driving me nuts is all the other kids. In and out... who are you? I like that they like to hang here... but enough already.

I'll try to post more... at least some pictures.
